Connect Claude Code to Agent Decision Kit over local MCP stdio. Includes a project config, trust prompt notes, and a browser safety smoke task.

01 / Build once

Prepare the source checkout

npm install
npm run build

Keep the absolute checkout path ready. The published npm package is not available yet; when it ships, this setup will be shorter.

02 / Add the server

~/.claude.json or project .mcp.json

claude mcp add --transport stdio agent-decision-kit -- node /absolute/path/to/agent-decision-kit/dist/cli.js mcp
claude mcp list

Claude Code's CLI separates its own flags from the server command with `--`. User and project scopes have different sharing behavior; local stdio keeps browser access on the machine running Claude Code.

03 / Verify

Check the connection

Run `claude mcp list`, open the `/mcp` panel, and confirm the server exposes `browser_inspect` and `browser_confirm`.

04 / Try a real workflow

Start with sample data

Use browser_inspect on the local demo. Mark the setup task complete. Stop before any action that asks for browser_confirm.
