Transparent Model-Routing Heuristic

Suggest a route from task complexity and available models without quietly dispatching data to a provider.

THE PROBLEM

A router can save latency or cost when easy tasks do not need the same model as a security design or migration. A hidden classifier can make routing difficult to reproduce and audit.

HOW THIS TOOL WORKS

model_route uses a small visible set of keyword rules to estimate low, medium, or high complexity. It returns the chosen available route and a reason. The calling agent or application stays responsible for calling a model.

This baseline is not an evaluated router and may misclassify a task. It does not know your model prices, context limits, or quality. Supply a curated available list and override its suggestion whenever needed.
